Antique Tantalus veneered in beautiful figured Calamander decorated with applied sterling silver mounts and fixed sterling silver handle all hallmarked by London Silversmiths “M Chapman, Son & Co Ltd”, dated 1907. This stunning antique Tantalus contains three superb lead crystal hobnail cut glass decanters with faceted stoppers all in A1 condition.

This Tantalus has a fixed handle and the bottles are released by unlocking the front panel which drops down to allow access. Pushing the panel back firmly automatically locks the decanters in place. The sprung Bramah lock requires the key to be pressed into it whilst turning clockwise to unlock.
