Petit and rare Antique jewellery and perfume box, constructed from Mahogany and veneered in Coromandel with applied sterling silver corner brackets and vacant shield-shaped initial plate. The sterling silver is hallmarked by London Silversmiths" M Chapman Son & Co Ltd"

Lifting the glazed doors above the jewellery section gives you access to the original removable jewellery tray, it has six padded compartments including two for rings, earrings or cufflinks all contemporary to the box. There are two small leather tabs to aid in the removal of the jewellery tray. Which has another padded storage compartment underneath it.
With the bevelled glazed doors open the three perfume bottles housed in the back of the box can be removed. Each perfume bottle has unmarked sterling silver and beautifully engraved silver tops with glass stoppers underneath. One of the perfume bottles lids is stuck and not wanting to force this we have left as is.
This jewellery box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
