Description

The lid of the Antique Dressing Case is lined with a royal blue ruched velvet, this springs forward to reveal a reversible mirror & blue letter envelope for storing letters.

The interior contains ten beautiful glass & silver engraved bottles and oblong toiletry containers all with star cut bases and silver plate lids each,, all are beautifully engraved. The glass bottles and toiletry containers are all in good condition with no breaks or cracks. A lift out tray is in the centre on which there is a set of accoutrements with Mother of Pearl handles, they include: A single pairs of Scissors, Button hook, Corkscrew and two prickers. The main part of the interior of the box lifts out to reveal further storage space beneath to store such items as brushes or combs.

The beautiful glitzy vanity box contains a jewellery drawer to the front, to access this you need to push the brass button in between the two hinges at the back of the box, the drawer springs forward revealing royal blue velvet & silk lined compartments for storing jewellery and pocket watch.
