A pair of Book Ends, by french maker Maurice Frecourt, in the form of silvered bronze Herons.
These fantastic Herons are made of silvered bronze stood on top of Swedish green marble and brass plate to the bases.
Maurice Frecourt was sculptor born near near Paris in 1890, he was the pupil of Valton and Boucher and exhibited his works at “le Salon des Artistes Franais” from 1920.
