A small, twin burr yew tea caddy with rare makers label by H.Spencer. Edged in boxwood, with lion mask side-handles and brass ball & claw feet. The underside of the lid is lined with red leather on which is the rare feature of the maker’s label reading: H.SPENCER, Manufacturer, 74 Lambs Conduit Street, Five doors from Theobalds Road, LONDON. Contains two bone handled lids.

This regency tea caddy by H.Spencer comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key, and has a standard lock which turns clockwise to unlock.
