Fabulous Coromandel Jewellery box attributed to George Austin of Dublin with intricate mother of pearl & abalone & brass wire inlays of flowering branches, exotic birds and jardinières. Fitted with solid ring handles and standing on four turned feet.

Opening the exquisite jewellery box lid reveals a teal padded velvet and white silk paper lined interior, framed by exquisite mother of pearl inlaid facings. Featuring a brass handled six compartment jewellery tray with further storage space underneath. Two of the padded compartments are specially lined to house rings, cufflinks or earrings.

This beautiful jewellery box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key. The lock is a standard anti clockwise to unlock.
