Antique Coromandel jewellery box with simple vacant brass initial plate and escutcheon.

The interior is lined with a purple velvet and black silk and features a removable jewellery tray with six padded compartments including two fitted for holding rings, earrings, or cufflinks. This has two brass handles to aid removal.

This jewellery box comes with a hidden jewellery drawer to the front of the box, perfect for keeping those precious items secure. This can be accessed by pressing the brass button on the back edge of the open box.

The underside of the lid houses a velvet backed mirror which can be removed to reveal a hidden leather letter compartment.

This jewellery box comes with a fully working Bramah lock and tasselled key. The key must be pressed into the sprung Bramah lock whilst being turned clockwise to unlock.
