Large regency Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy with pagoda top, unusual treble waisted sides and canted corners. Its inlaid with a fine silver wire, has two shaped silver escutcheons all on this beautiful figured turtle shell panels and stands on four turned Ivory feet.

Lifting the lid of this larger than average exquisite Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy reveals Ivory facing, pink velvet lid and two tortoiseshell lids with Ivory handles and still contains traces of its original tin lining.

This impressive larger than usual Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy comes with a fully working lock & tasselled key.
