Description

Rosewood jewellery Box with brass escutcheons and stringing on the front and top. The rest of the box is bound in quadrant brass which adds strength to the box but is also a pleasing aesthetic.

The box features a Bramah spring loaded lock, which is opened by pressing the key into the lock, turning it through 90 degrees and lifting the lid while the key is turned.

The interior features a blue velvet and leather paper lined tray with various compartments including two for rings, earrings and cufflinks. This can be lifted out to reveal further storage underneath.

On the back edge of the box there is a large brass button. When this is pressed the drawer at the front of the box springs open to reveal even more storage space for those precious items.

This jewellery box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
