We are starting to head into the summer months and so far we have been extremely fortunate with the weather, Mark has recovered from back-to-back fairs with Battersea and Petworth Park now finished. As he restocks and gets ready for the next fair on the agenda, Mark would like to offer his personal thanks to everyone who purchased from him at Petworth Park Antique & Fine Art Fair. The fair was a great success and it was fantastic seeing faces old and new at the event. We were really pleased by the great attendance and thought the fair looked stunning. During the last couple of weeks, we have sourced some fabulous new objects to add to our collection and have a curated selection of the objects for this newsletter. We are having a big online push over the summer so please check our website regularly as we are updating it on a daily basis. Featured this week we have a stunning Georgian Mahogany Tea Chest. The chest features a very unusual crossbanded book-matched Laburnum border to the lid with further crossbanding quarter veneer panels of Mahogany to the exterior. It is beautifully untouched with a glowing patination and was previously part of the Stephen Wood M.B.E Chippendale Collection (1944-2022)
