Description
Description
A rare Jewellery Boxby William Norrie of New Zealand veneered in colonial parquetry specimen woods, the hinged lid with an eight point star inlay including Puriri, Rewarewa, mottled Kauri, Maire and other New Zealand timbers, on a burr totara ground, dovetail joints and stands on Norrie’s signature turned feet.
The inside is lined with its original burgandy velvet and features a removable wooden tray with three compartments, including one for rings, earrings and cufflinks. The interior lid has a raplacement burgandy leather paper to its lid.
