Lifting the lid of this victorian tea caddy reveals its original blue water silk backing and two matching dome shaped lids, with brass handles and applied piereced engraved ornate plates which read: “Green” and “Black” for Green & Black Tea, both compartments have most of their original tin foil lining.

This wonderful tea caddy comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.

Enhanced or feathered walnut is a where the veneer has been embeillshed further by painting extra grain on its surface.
