Description

Fabulous rare shaped Chinese tea caddy, decorated with oriental scenes, temples and pagodas. Stands on three stunning winged dragon feet.

The interior contains three engraved paktong canisters, two of large proportions, the smaller possibly for a caddy spoon or sugar. In China the butterfly symbolises love and long life.

Paktong is a soft metal similar to pewter & lead and is prone to damage, the paktong caddies in this tea caddy do show signs of usage but all in all are in very good condition.

This wonderful chinese Tea Caddy comes with a fully working lock & tasselled key.
