Description

Matched pair of Silver plated Bee Jam pots with cranberry coloured glass by famous silversmiths Mappin & Webbof London & Sheffield, both containing spoons with one having an engraved pattern. The wings have are hinged and lift to enable you to access the conserve / honey or jam. The cranberry glass bodies are attached via a silver plated thread which is useful when cleaning. The legs and body of the Bee have realistic hair like features which can be see in the images.

The Bee’s have the following stamped on the underside:
“Mappin & Webb London & Sheffield Mappin Plate W11518”
