High quality Staunton Chess Set made of red stained and natural Ivory complete with green velvet lined Oak Box.

Staunton is the name given to this particular style of chess piece which was designed by Nathaniel Cook and named after Howard Staunton.

The box is made of oak and is beautifully lined in emerald green silk & silk velvet which is all original to the fabulous chess set, it has a fully working lock & tasselled key.
