Description

Antique Coromandel Jewellery Boxwith engraved brass escutcheon, initial plate and stringing. Jewellery drawers to the front and side which can only be accessed when the box is open by pressing a sprung buttons on the back and side edge. The lid of the jewellery box also contains a secret letter compartment and reversible mirror.

The interior features a purple velvet and leather paper lined tray with gold tooling. It has various compartments including two for rings, earrings and cufflinks. This can be lifted out to reveal further storage compartments underneath.

This antique Jewellery box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
