Description

Exquisite antique rosewood Jewellery Boxwith inlayed Mother of pearl with abalone diamonds framed with thick strips of brass. The escutcheon and initial plate have intricate floral inlay and delicate swags of brass, Mother of Pearl and Abalone.

The interior of this fabulous antique jewellery box is lined with teal velvet and green silk. Featuring a removable tray which contains several compartments including two for rings, earrings or cufflinks. Underneath this is a large storage compartment for those precious items.

To the right hand side of the box is a hidden drawer which is held in place by a brass pin. Lifting the brass pin the drawer to springs open.

This Jewellery box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
