Description

Antique Jewellery boxveneered in striking coromandel, with contrasting engraved brass edging, stringing, intial plate and escutcheon. The box has two beautifully engraved flush fittings carry handles typical of Wells & Lambe’s work.

The interior of this fabulous Jewellery box is fitted with a removable tray, lined in luxurious cushioned green velvet with water silk paper. Featuring several compartments including two for rings, earrings or cufflinks. Underneath this tray is further storage space for those precious jewels or watches.

This antique jewellery box comes with a fully working Bramah Lock and tasselled key. To operate the Bramah lock the key must be pressed into the lock whilst being turned anticlockwise.
