Antique Coromandel Brass bound Jewellery Boxwith brass escutcheons.

This robust Coromandel jewellery box interior features a ruched velvet backed lid which houses a removable mirror and a secret leather letter compartment. The box is lined in a blue cotton cotton velvet, it has a removable jewellery tray which is lined in blue velvet with several storage spaces including two padded secure compartments for rings, earrings or cufflinks. Underneath the jewellery box tray is more room for those precious items.

To the front of this luxurious antique jewellery box is a drawer which is all lined in matching blue velvet. This can only be accessed once the top has been lifted as it has a sprung pin that goes down in to the drawer when closed.

This jewellery box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key making it practical as well as being an elegant piece of furniture.
