Antique brass strapped Rosewood Jewellery Boxwith brass escutcheon and vacant initial plate.

The interior of the antique jewellery box has a green velvet and green water silk paper. The removable jewellery tray has compartments for rings, earrings and cufflinks, and three other compartments for other precious keepsakes. Underneath this jewellery tray is a large storage compartment for further precious gems.

The box top has one or two marks consistent with age and use.

This antique jewellery box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
