Antique Jewellery Box veneered in beautiful coromandel with double strung brass, thick edging, brass escutcheon and Lion engraved initial plate, with sprung loaded side drawer.

This antique jewellery box interior is lined in purple velvet and contains eight cushioned compartments. The underside of the lid has a velvet back reversible mirror which can be removed to reveal a secret leather letter compartment.

On the left hand edge of the open box is a small brass button. When pressed it opens a hidden box on the right hand side of the box, with five cushioned compartments including two for rings, earrings or cuff links.

This fabulous jewellery box comes complete with fully working lock and tasselled key.
