Description
Antique satinwood tea chest with an oval inlay to the front depicting a floral basket with a bone escutcheon. The top has an oval floral inlay framing the engraved silver plated handle. The edge is crossbanded with a kingwood and boxwood banding.
The interior of this inlaid satinwood tea chest features two removable caddies with oval hinged satinwood lids and kingwood crossbanding which replicates the exterior. The tea chest has its original cut glass sugar bowl and has a fully working lock with tasselled key.
The key must be turned clockwise to unlock.
