Rosewood brass bound Jewellery Box with decorative double brass stringing and flower shaped vacant initial plate. The sides have flush fitting campaign style brass carrying handles.

The interior of this impressive rosewood Jewellery box is lined in luxurious blue silk velvet and silk paper. The underside of the lid features a velvet backed leather letter compartment which when folded down reveals a mirror. This letter compartment features a god tooled manufacturers label which reads:

The main jewellery compartments are part of a removable tray which can be lifted out using the brass loop handles on each side. Underneath is a single large padded storage compartment.

This jewellery box comes with fully working lock and tasselled key. The key must be turned clockwise to unlock.
