Antique French Bombe shaped jewellery box veneered in satinwood with beautiful stripes of Mullberry running down all sides, the beautiful figuring could easily be mistaken for Tortoiseshell. The satinwood jewellery box stands on four brass ball and claw feet. With ornate pressed brass escutcheon and solid brass carry handles.

The interior is lined in white water silk paper with deep green velvet and gold rope twist are the underside of the lid.
