Pretty Antique jewellery box veneered in beautifully figured Rosewood, brass-bound for added strength and durability and has a beautiful foliate brass inlay to the top and front with vacant shield initial plate. The sides have flush fitting carrying handles

The interior of this stunning antique jewellery box is beautifully lined with blue silk paper lining and cushioned royal blue velvet, with a removable brass handled jewellery tray having seven padded jewellery compartments including two specially fitted for holding rings, earrings or cufflinks. Underneath this tray is a single large padded storage space.

The jewellery drawer has a separate lock and can only be accessed using the key, this is lined in the same manner as the rest of the box and perfect for watches, necklaces and chains as this space is much shallower.

This antique jewellery box comes with fully working locks and tasselled key. The key must be turned clockwise to unlock.
