Single Veneered Tea Chest
From our Tea Caddy collection, we are delighted to offer this Georgian Single Tea Chest Veneered in Burr Yew. The Tea Caddy formed as a square veneered in Burr Yew with quadrant Boxwood edging and a central bone escutcheon. The interior features an unusual removable tea caddy veneered to the top in exotic Lacewood which is sealed by the inside of the lid of the tea caddy when it is closed. The Tea Caddy dates to the 18th Century Georgian period during the reign of George IV circa 1780.
The Tea Caddy comes complete with a working lock and tasselled key.
