Antique Tunbridge ware writing box veneered in rosewood with a floral mosaic border framing a view of Hever Castle.

The interior has a vibrant red writing surface. The top half of which can be lifted to reveal large storage space. Above the slope are some small storage spaces, a pentray and two inkwells with wooden Tunbridge ware lids.

This Tunbridge ware writing box has a key profile and lock on the right hand side of the box. The key must be turned clockwise to unlock.
