This Levrier (Greyhound) Car Mascot was designed and produced by renowned glassmaker René Lalique. Mesmerizing, this piece is clear in colour, with a lovely bright reflection and patination.

Model #1141, René Lalique‘s car mascot of the Levrier (greyhound) is a charming display piece.
These wonderful Car Mascots were made to sit on car radiator mounts as luxury ornaments in the 1920s by famous glassmaker René Jules Lalique, they were lit underneath by a bulb that would shine through the glass giving them a warm glow at night, the faster the car went the brighter the glow. René Lalique, who started the company using his name, still creates fine glassware today.
