Antique coromandel decanter box with brass edging, hinges and escutcheon. Lifting the lid reveals four cut glass decanters with faceted stoppers housed inside the box, and four spirit glasses housed in brass spring clips in the underside of the lid. With the box open the front can be opened outwards to line up the decanters and reveal the bronze gilded serving tray.
The back edge of the open box is a retailers plaque which reads 'MAPPIN & WEBB Sheffield. 77 & 78 Oxford St & Mansion House B2 London'

This decanter box comes with a fully working Bramah style lock and tasselled key. The key must be pressed into the lock whilst turning clockwise to unlock.
