A rare octagonal ivory ribbed caddy with cut-steel faceted stud decoration to all sides. Silver handle and delicate, engraved escutcheon. To the front is a cut-steel framed portrait of a courting couple. Each panel is separated with thin lines of tortoiseshell with tortoiseshell edging. Single floating lid with silver handle.
