Penwork Sewing Box with wonderful floral decoration on all sides with fabulous colour and detail. Standing on four elaborate brass feet with a brass loop carry handle on either side.

Opening the penwork sewing box reveals a vibrant pink paper lined interior. The underside of the lid is decorated with naive silhouettes.
The splendid antique sewing box features a large removable tray which has several compartments containing Ivory thread spools, winders and two with velvet padded lids and a removable tool pad complete with cut steel scissors, file, needles and pricker.

Lifting out this tray reveals a large storage space underneath.
