Description

Antique Sewing Basket with shaped sycamore carry handle. On the top of the box is a naive penwork rural scene similar to Kilarney Ware. Each shaped side supports is veneered with a chequered design of Mahogany, Sycamore and Yew. The hinged lid has a turned handle and opens to reveal a rosewood base with open shaped sides.
