Cutlery Box


Cutlery box box veneered in flame mahogany with silvered ring pull and engraved escutcheon. The top features a beautiful inlaid conch shell and the box stands on Ogee bracket feet.

Inside has been converted to a very high standard using mahogany and inlaying boxwood and ebony stringing to the top edge, it has several compartments for stationery or even your Ipad, Tablet or Mobile phone.

In the past knife boxes were displayed on a sideboard to reflect the wealth of the owners. Today they would make an elegant accessory in any interior setting.

Although normally referred to as 'Knife Box' the lid opens to reveal the cutlery decks, in which there are apertures to fit almost any kind of culinary knives, forks, and spoons.

Comes complete with non working lock and tasselled key.
