Antique four bottle decanter box, veneered in fabulous feathered Pollard Oak with brass edging, carry handles and escutcheon.
The interior is lined in a navy blue velvet and houses four cut glass decanters, with star cut bases and faceted stoppers. The underside of the main lid houses a single glass held in a sprung brass gilded clasp.
On the back edge of the open box is a retailers plaque which reads: "J & G Hayward, Derby."

The antique decanter box lock is marked:" T Turner London, Patent Lever". This lock is fully working and comes complete with a tasselled key.
The key must be turned clockwise to unlock the box.
