Antique Octagonal tea caddy with conch shell inlay to the top, with chequered edging with satinwood cross banding and oval shaped bone escutcheon. Surrounding the front edge is a herring bone inlay coloured boxwood inlays with the base having a tulipwood cross banding.
The Georgian tea caddy interior features two turned bone handled lidded compartments with most of their original foil lining.
This tea caddy comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key. The key must be turned clockwise to unlock.
