Description

Antique Writing Box, veneered in Amboyna cross banded with Calamander with brass bound edging, inlaid brass, escutcheons and flush carry handles.

The interior of this Antique writing box opens to reveal a pen tray, inkwells and red leather with gold tooling writing surface.

The bottom half of the writing surface lifts to reveal storage space. On the underside of the surface there is leather strapping for holding letters and cards.

The top half of the writing also lifts to reveal further storage and large single drawer.

This antique writing box comes with a fully working lock, inkwells and tasselled key.
