Rare antique coromandel jewellery box brass edging and escutcheon.

Lifting the lid of this impressive original antique jewellery box reveals the purple velvet and black silk paper-lined interior. This box has three tiers, the top two are cantilever ( rarely seen) that pivots outwards. The top tiers have compartments that are fitted for rings, earrings or cufflinks, and also has perfect sized compartments for padded watch holders.
The next tier has two large storage spaces while the bottom of the box has three large padded compartments perfect for those precious items.

This box comes with a fully working Bramah lock which requires the key to be pressed into the sprung lock whilst turning clockwise to unlock.
