Description

The chinese tea caddy interior features two removable paktong caddies, with engraved tops and lids, and secondary lids with bone handles which help keep the tea fresh.
Complete with a fully working lock and tasselled key. The key must be turned clockwise to unlock the tea chest.
A box such as this containing removable tea caddies is called a “Tea Chest” and not a tea caddy. A tea caddy has fixed compartments with removable lid or lids.
