Here we have an Antique Rosewood Sewing Box. This beautifully detailed box is in an unusual clam shape; with beautiful Mother-of-Pearl floral inlay featured on the top of the box.

Standing on four ribbed turned-wooden feet, this sewing box also features a brass key profile.

The interior of the box is lined with olive-green water silk to protect the contents of the box. Featured inside are four Mother-of-Pearl thread reels, two Silver thimbles and a removable tool pad, which is fitted with scissors, a Mother-of-Pearl handled pricker, a sewing hook and a file. There is also a removable needle book and two small compartments with lids that have carved Mother-of-Pearl handles.
