Antique brass bound Jewellery Boxveneered in stunning figured Coromandel with brass escutcheon and vacant oval initial plate.

The underside of the antique jewellery box lid has a removable velvet backed mirror, which when removed reveals a secret leather letter compartment.

The interior is lined in blue silk velvet and contains a removable jewellery tray with eight padded compartments of which two are for rings, earrings or cuff links. Underneath this tray is a large storage space perfect for those precious items.

On the back edge of the open box is a brass pin that once pressed releases the flush fitting drawer at the front of the box. The drawer contains three blue velvet lined padded compartments.

This jewellery box comes complete with fully working lock and tasselled key.
