Description

Large antique coromandel jewellery box with brass edging, escutcheon, carry handles and engraved initial plate which reads: From M. Gosset to E. Morland 1881.

The interior is lined in a blue silk velvet, perfect for keeping those precious items safe.

This box features a sprung bramah lock which requires the key to be pressed into the lock whilst turning clockwise to unlock and allow the lids to lifted. The lid cannot be lifted without turning the key.
