Description

Antique Coromandel Jewellery Box by Leauchars of London with brass edging, flush fitting carry handles and escutcheon.

The interior features a lift out tray with several compartments with are lined with black leather paper and royal blue velvet with a compartment for rings, earrings and cufflinks.
There is a second removable padded tray underneath.

With both trays removed the secret compartment can be accessed. This can be done by pressing the inside of the right hand interior wall. This will cause the secret compartment to spring open.

House inside the lid of the box is a ruched velvet backed letter compartment.

This jewellery box with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
