Impressive looking Antique jewellery box veneered in lovely figured rosewood and enhanced with striking beautiful greek key brass inlay and brass bound edges. The fabulous box also has campaign-style flush fitting carry handles on each side, and has an initial plate and matching escutcheon. The initial plate is engraved with the monogram ” G L “.

The interior of this decorative and very practical box is lined with black silk paper and padded teal velvet. The underside of the lid has a leather-backed letter compartment with greek key gold tooling. This is secured with a brass clasp.

This antique jewellery box comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
