Oak cased with shaped silvered carry-handle and Chinese gold stencil to the front panel reading “Mah Jong”. This panel conceals five drawers, each with silvered metal cloverleaf-shaped hinged handles.

The top four drawers contain rectangular bone with bamboo-backed gaming pieces, with a mixture of engraved coloured Chinese characters, numbers and symbols, and the large bottom drawer contains long thin strips of black & red dotted bone.
