This sycamore sewing basket has a beautifully shaped handle and is adorned with penwork on all sides.
The image on the top depicts three cherubs, with one sitting atop a fish, holding The caduceus, which was Hermes staff in greek mythology.
The interior is lined with pink paper and the box is complete with a working lock and tasselled key.
