Antique Writing boxveneered in beautiful figured exotic Rosewood with strong brass edging, fine double stringing and features two ornate heavy duty campaign brass carrying handles.

This Antique Rosewood writing slopes interior features a gold tooled leather writing surface. The lower half can be lifted to reveal and ribbon backed storage space for letters and calling cards.
The top half of the writing surface lifts to reveal more storage space and grants access to three hidden drawers. To access these hidden drawers, the right hand ink well needs to be removed then the outside edge of the inkwells compartment needs to be pressed. This will cause the back wall of the storage space to spring forward, revealing three bone handled rosewood veneered drawers.
