This inkwell is charming, featuring a hobnail-cut glass base, which is beautifully adorned with a lid that has a pocket watch securely fixed within a hinged housing. This unique design allows the pocket watch to pivot, enabling it to be propped up, thus allowing easy access to the inkwell. The pocket watch, which is an elegant and timeless creation of London Watchmaker Sir John Bennett, is expertly engraved with the number 2654406, adding to its historical significance.
