Rare Antique tantalus made of solid and very rare Calamander, with high contrast dense and slightly figured grain. The beautiful tantalus is embellished with ornate applied brass corner brackets, escutcheon and has a practical carrying handle.

The front side panel of this quite unique Tantalus has a sprung lock mechanism, which requires the key to be turned whilst lowering to gain access to the three beautiful elaborately cut glass lead crystal decanters. Each with a faceted stopper.
