Antique Oak cigar trunk with brass corner brackets, ornate carry handles, lock escutcheon and engraved presentation plaque on the top which reads:
Presented to J. D. Marolm Esq. By C. Byramjee. Aug 1906Opening the trunk humidor reveals a removable cedar wood tray, divided into two compartments with an incorporated cigar cutter, match striker and match tray. Underneath is a larger single cedar lined compartment. At the back inside edge of the trunk has a registration mark “RD 94342”
This oak trunk humidor / cigar box has a handle above the key profile that must be turned down to gain access to the box and only when the box is in the unlocked position. The trunk cigar box has a fully working lock and tasselled key.
