Birdseye Maple Tunbridge Ware Writing Boxdecorated with a floral border and a scene of Muckross Abbey.

The interior features a blue velvet writing surface, of which the top half can be lifted to reveal a large storage area underneath. Above this is a lidded compartment, pen tray and two inkwells with tunbridge ware lids.

This writing box comes with its original pair of Tunbridge ware inkwells, has a fully working lock, located on the right hand side, and tasselled key.
